The Grand Theatre offers event rental space at various times throughout the year. Our wonderful facility is available for private or public functions. The space is excellent for meetings, wedding receptions, retirement parties, social gatherings, plays, memorial services and more.

The Grand Theatre features hardwood floors, ambient lighting, and a raised stage. The space includes built-in surround sound capability and fixed audience seating. During the warmer season, The Back Stage is perfect for a fully functioning non-smoking bar and is an excellent choice for smaller, less formal parties or can be used in conjunction with the theatre for larger events. Ample free street parking is available adjacent to the Theatre.

In order to rent the Grand Theatre, interested individuals and organizations must contact us and complete a use request form that must be reviewed and approved. Nonprofit organizations may be eligible for discounts on facility rental fees.

Theatre Style Fixed Seating – 242 people
This comfortable space makes it a popular choice for community meetings, receptions or parties.

Back Stage

Meeting/Party – 150 people – including lobby space.
Perfect for small meetings, receptions or parties. The backstage can be added to rental of the theatre.
The theatre can be rented alone or in combination with the concession and / or projection equipment for movies or video gaming.

Enquire about tables, chairs, sound system and other equipment that may be available.

Additional equipment may be rented from outside vendors.

The Grand Theatre assumes no responsibility for delivery, setup, breakdown, maintenance or security of outside rental equipment during private events. Renters assume full responsibility for lost, damaged or stolen items.

Things you need to know/ FAQ’s:

  • Outside food and beverages are not permitted in the theatre, unless arrangements are made prior to event.
  • Parents/ caregivers are expected to chaperone and be with children when a private youth party is booked.
  • What about decorations? Sorry no confetti or piñatas but bring along balloons and streamers etc. as long as they leave with you!
  • Do I Clean up afterwards?  We ask you pick up and throw away any leftover refreshments, decorations and wrappers in the appropriate trash and recycling bins.  The theatre should be left as it was when you arrived.  Our staff & volunteers will gladly lend a hand!
